Noooooo. ;; Don’t feel guilty! I made that post before I saw yours, and I didn’t see anything wrong with your posts. What I got from them was more frustration with the situation itself rather than any theory over another. And you definitely didn’t imply anyone was stupid for believing what they believe.

So no, what you were saying doesn’t apply to what I was complaining about at all. <3

soulmates doesn’t have to mean lovers

to me, anyway

it’s just like, a person you’re supposed to be with. and it doesn’t really matter what the with bit is defined as in relation to you because the specifics of it aren’t really the important part, you know? like, what’s important is that you found each other

i can’t even consider it a two halves of a whole concept, really, but that’s mostly because i don’t like the idea of people being incomplete

it’s more like you were already whole but then you went and got yourself this other person one day and you didn’t even know you needed them but now that you have them around everything just seems so much brighter and you can’t really imagine your life without them in it anymore

(and it’s not even that you don’t want to, you just literally can’t imagine a world where they don’t exist)
